SKETCHCLUB

This guy had a great profile and posture. The hat, thick glasses, curved sideburns, everything came together for a fun drawing. Sometimes I wish I were a bit more unique like the characters we pick out of the crowd. Maybe I am and just don't know it. Nah, I think my philosophy has been to be as neutral as possible. Maybe it's time to grow that mullet I've been wanting.

You don't have a mullet? Then why have I always thought you did? I should probably go back into that sketchbook I have titled "Sketches of Weird Dudes" and change that on my drawings of you. This is cool, Seth. You're cool, Seth.

Thanks Shane! No, I don't have a mullet... yet. Although that may mean I have to loose the tail and steps if I ever get one. Tough call.

Wow Seth,

Glad I found your blog. Love your sketches, character designs and coloring.
You wouldn't happen to be at the SONY studio would you?

Hans

Hi Hans,

Why yes, yes I would be at Sony! Thanks for stopping by. You've got a great blog yourself.

Hi seth and thanks:)

I just noticed you had Marcelo in your links and you live in Culver City, so I put two and two together....
I'm guessing you work as a character designer? Did you work on "Open Season"?

Hans

P.S. I added you to my links, hope you don't mind;)

Hey Guy! It's a small world, isn't it? We keep crossing paths! I love your blog, and, as always, your artwork is phenomenal.

Hans,

I'm actually an animator at Sony, but I like to draw with Marcelo. Someday I will do more character design for a living though, 'cause it's in my blood.
Oh, and thanks for the plug!
