seth, these are great. wonderful silouette (sp?) in the bottom left corner. It's really good. and the middle top one is REALLY strong design, I think.
i have a question, by the way, if you could please answer it. what exactly to you do at Sony? Do you stricly animate? Do you help with design at all? Do you do freelance design on the side? please tell me.
I ask because I'm interested in the art route for a career, but I don't know exactly what to expect from it, or how to prepare, or what I should be focusing on.
Wow,how wonderful sketches u got here, Seth! I love those. I've found your blog via the toon team. It's really amazing!Cheers! (er..i've seen your post about monster house...did you work at it? i was discouraged as i been seing it, because this year i made a story, and it was with the same ingredients, sigh!! another story bites the dust...sigh sigh sigh
Great designs, Seth. That silhouette one really stands out... I love the pose. That can't be good for his back, though. I love the hair on the one on the top left. All of them are great, as could be expected.
I like the top left the best I think. Sort of the elegant ditch-digger. Dressed to the nine, but still has dirt under his nails. And lots of caffine in his system (only attacks people at Starbucks.
Love these sketches. I don't know how you get these all out looking so different from each other. I think the top left one looks like a Professor Snape in a way.

Wide variety of vampires! (but all with pointed noses ;) ) Very very nice sketches :)
Wow, great sketches and fun characters. Love the original take on Dracula in the post below. He might have a tough time getting to the ladies though!
have a great weekend,
Hans

Very cool, I like the top corner guy myself, nice shapes.
Every emotion from concerned to repulsed. I appreciate your range Seth. Great studies. Halloween must be fun at your house.
Hey Seth! I love these sketches. I always love the concept and design work more than the finished product. Excellent and Fun and Spooky!
Seth, you're character designs are so wonderful. Each one has a story to tell.
