Larry the CPA. He'll do your taxes, if you like. Careful though, he isn't house broken yet... and he can't do math.

I think my favorite part about this Larry fellow is his mouth. He's wonderful. We need to hire him soon because we still haven't done our taxes yet! ahhhhhh

"...and he can't do math." Excellent! I love it, Seth. His attire is hilarious, and as always, I love the sketch. You're amazingly talented, Sir Hippen.

Our brother in law does our taxes - luckily he doesn't look like this, he's house broken - and I think he can do math. I love how bold and confident his stance is - so full of pride in his talents! I always love your work. I keep telling Shane that someday I want some of your art in our house.

I love this one. You've got a real soft feel to your stuff. Very fairytale like ... and frankly I'd like him to do my taxes. His face is more honest than the guy who did them last year. Cheers,

Andrew

Now tell the truth,is that Larry's real hair or is he wearing it purely to impress the ladies ?

Really great work.

S'hard to be house broken when your arms aren't too long. Great picture, Seth.

Yeah, he looks like he leaves puddles wherever he goes... :-D Nice work, Seth!

Hehe, great character! I like how he's all weak in the knees too.

I love the way you choose colors and transition from one to another, so smooth! His expression and the fact that his arms are so far forward on his torso and he's pigeon toed cracks me up. Way to go Seth!

I love the character design! And you have wonderful colors on all your work.

Like I have told you time and time again- you really need to be drawing for a living. Book Illustrations, character design work, etc.

Now if only you were able to work on a film based on your favorite story of all time, Beowulf, then that would really be great.

Best.

Wonder if he's gonna give me a good refund. Nice character design, Seth.

Hey, some of us CPA's may resent (but likely resemble) this dipiction. If you ask my work I can't do math, and my wife can definately attest to the "house broken" part.

Pure accountant..hahaha I love the "What am I supposed to do now?" expression.

Tis is the first time I've been to your blog, your stuff is amazing!!
I'll definately be back!

Well, I'm a stranger here but I'm greatly entertained. These two most recent additions both made me laugh. Other than his expression I'm looking for some sign of Larry's non-house brokeness. I guess it's left best to his uncomfortable look. Subtlety may not be my strong point. Now I will go write in "pjprygf" so that my letter will be posted.

I think he looks the way I feel at work some days... out of place and confused as to exactly what is expected of me. Hey maybe he can come to work with me and then I will have a friend. Maybe it's because I am working on house training too!

Jo Bling said...

Yeah, larry looks like he could ruin my new lounge carpet. Lovely stuff, Seth!

Hey Seth,

Man it's been too long since I've been active on the blogs! Your stuff looks awesome as always. I just came back from a visit at Disney/Avalanche in SLC. That place is packed with awesome talent. Hope to meet you there in a not too distant future;)

Take care,

Hans

Hey Seth - amazing stuff, as always. I haven't seen you since you were at waterford! That was a long time ago- but you were amazing then too. Glad to hear you're working at Sony - how is it in Culver City?

You must be swamped with Beowulf. Hope that's treating you alright. We'll all be glad to see you posting again. Don't be gone too long.
